GDPR

The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is new legislation that will enact strong laws that will govern the protection of privacy and personal data within the EU and the UK. Any companies doing business and collecting/transmitting personal data of EU and UK citizens will be governed by GDPR and those that are not compliant with its directives could face severe penalties, levies and fines. The GDPR regulation will affect every company, organization and institution (regardless of base geography) that processes or handles the information of European Union and United Kingdom citizens.
